Linnea Henriksson, who first captivated audiences as a jazz vocalist before rising to national fame, takes the stage in a spectacular collaboration with Norrbotten Big Band. Known for their global tours and star guests, including legends like Kurt Rosenwinkel, Chris Potter, and Lisa Nilsson. This fantastic ensemble has been under the visionary leadership of Joakim Milder since 2013. Together, they push musical boundaries and craft unforgettable live experiences at the crossroads of jazz, pop, and experimental soundscapes.
Filmed at Malmö’s legendary Palladium, an iconic venue now under threat of closure, this concert is more than a performance; it's a celebration of artistry, emotion, and innovation. The film also features exclusive behind the scenes interviews with Linnea Henriksson and Joakim Milder, offering a deeper look into the creative energy behind this extraordinary event.
LINNEA HENRIKSSON
Linnea Henriksson is a beloved Swedish pop artist and songwriter from Halmstad. Since her solo debut in 2012, her music has been streamed over 290 million times, with hits like Se på mig nu (with Petter) and the modern holiday classic Fira jul med mig. She’s collaborated with artists like Avicii, received numerous awards including P3 Guld’s Artist of the Year, and been nominated for a Grammis.
Known for her emotional lyrics and distinctive voice, Linnea has also made a name for herself as a TV and radio host with shows like Musikhjälpen and Melodifestivalen on her résumé. On stage, she moves effortlessly between major arenas and intimate venues, most recently seen with Norrbotten Big Band and on the tribute tour Let the Music Speak. In 2025, she's back with the single Den känslan and a summer tour across Sweden.
THE DIRECTOR
Alvin Lindblom, is a Director from Sundsvall, who since 2018 has been carving an unconventional path with his artistic practice and goal to create something truthfully genuine. Cutting his teeth as a stills photographer, he has brought his keen mind & eye for what's authentic to all kinds of commercial shoots.
IN 2019 Alvin sat down confidently in the director's chair starting with a stirring music video for SYLVE's "Låtsas Som Inget Hänt," in partnership with the suicide prevention NGO: Suicide Zero — as a upright directors debut that sets the tone for his artistic goals. Following that, his creative vision has led him into different projects in collaboration with some of Sweden's biggest talent, each project stamped with his signature style of striving for the genuine in visual storytelling.
In 2023, Alvin made his debut as a feature film director with En liten stund med Moonica Mac, which was widely screened in cinemas across the nation and aired several times on national television. In 2025, he is currently working on the film Linnea Henriksson möter Norrbotten Big Band for SVT 1.
Alvin is on an artistic mission to create films that strike a chord in the heart of any human, the stories that stir the soul and sparks the match that leads you to truly think freely, and giving us the confidence to make a decision to live more truthfully.
